Job Overview

We are hiring a Purchase Engineer - Class C Items with 1 to 3 years of experience. This is a full-time position based in Bangalore Rural, Karnataka, India. The ideal candidate should have knowledge and experience in handling Class C items procurement, purchase order (PO) management, and SAP ERP implementation.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• 1 to 3 years of experience in handling Class C items procurement.
• Strong knowledge of purchase order (PO) management.
• Experience in SAP ERP implementation for procurement and inventory management.
• Proficiency in SAP ERP and other relevant software.
• Good negotiation skills and ability to build and maintain supplier relationships.
• Attention to detail and ability to work with accuracy and precision.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Manage the procurement process for Class C items, ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement.
• Collaborate with internal teams to determine the procurement needs and specifications for Class C items.
• Identify potential suppliers for Class C items and negotiate contracts and terms.
• Monitor supplier performance and resolve any issues or discrepancies.
• Create and manage purchase orders (POs) for Class C items, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Coordinate with the finance team for invoice processing and payment reconciliation.
• Conduct supplier evaluations and assessments to maintain a qualified supplier base.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement SAP ERP for procurement and inventory management.
• Provide regular updates and reports on procurement activities and performance.
• Stay updated with market trends and industry best practices in procurement and supply chain management.
