Manager/Sr. Manager – Site EHS

Reporting to

General Manager, Operations

Responsibilities

1.      Lead the EHS function

2.      Ensure compliance to all applicable regulations in the EHS area. Have knowledge of updated regulations and submit required reports to the relevant regulatory authorities. Be first point-of-contact of the authorities and present company in a positive manner to the authorities

3.      Ensure compliance to internal EHS policies. Monitor activities (mainly production, storage, and maintenance) as per internal EHS policies and record deviations/ lapses and suggest improvement plans.

4.      Conduct required trainings, assess the knowledge of the team on general EHS principles, specific risks of working with products and processes within company.

Profile

6-10 years’ experience post Master’s in any science or Engineering

Experience in API industry or Process Industry

Good communication skills – ability to write project reports to internal team members and to external parties.

Teamwork – Ability to work cross-functionally with impact.

Knowledge of EHS frameworks and their deployment within the Process industry

Knowledge of basic legal requirements with EHS for process industry/ API industry

Qualification

Minimum Master’s in Science/Engineering
