Job Overview
We are seeking a qualified Accountant to join our team at Infinitalent Consulting (P) Ltd. This is a mid-level, full-time position based in Bangalore Urban. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing financial reporting, tax preparation, and financial analysis, among other duties.
Qualifications and Skills
- Experience in financial reporting, ensuring accurate and timely financial statements (Mandatory skill).
- Proficiency in tax preparation, including knowledge of current tax laws and regulations (Mandatory skill).
- Strong financial analysis skills to interpret financial data and provide recommendations (Mandatory skill).
- Experience in auditing to examine and verify financial records.
- Competence in budgeting to manage organization's finances effectively.
- Ability to perform account reconciliation to ensure accuracy in financial records.
- Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) to ensure compliance with accounting standards.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Should have expertise in ZOHO software
Roles and Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with established schedules.
- Perform financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
- Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with all applicable tax regulations.
- Conduct audits to ensure financial records are accurate and compliance is maintained.
- Develop, implement, and monitor budgets to control expenses and improve profitability.
- Perform account reconciliation regularly to maintain the accuracy of the general ledger.
- Ensure adherence to GAAP and other regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with other departments to provide insights and support for financial decision-making.
