Job Description

The Role

We are looking for a Software (SW) Developer in Test to plan, develop, debug and automate test scripts to improve overall quality and security of the SDK and Firmware product. Most of our customers are focused on building Internet of Things (IoT) products (smart homes, smart metering, smart cities). You will be the primary SW Developer in Test responsible for providing test coverage on each security feature as well as maintain build-to-build quality and consistency. The ideal candidate has experience with cryptographic operations and algorithms and common security functionality. In addition, you should have experience working with embedded devices over telnet and serial. You will frequently interact with the SW Development Team based in Hyderabad, Oslo and other SQA groups globally. In addition, the ideal candidate shall be proficient in Python, C and Java. We are looking for creative, flexible, pragmatic, and skilled individuals with superb communications skills and a love of problem solving in a fast-paced team environment.

Responsibilities:

•   Write test plans based on requirements;

•   Investigating and understanding complex new features by reading the documentation and discussing with development and Application teams;

•   Implement and run functional, security, fuzz, negative, performance, stress tests cases based on test plans;

•   Investigate test results in continuous integration systems;

•   Work closely with dev team to: debug problems found during test cycle, and develop targeted test plans aimed at ensuring the security of the system

•   Write custom embedded applications.

Skills required:

•   5+ years of work experience or Master Degree +2 years experience as a SW Developer or SW Developer in Test

•   Experience with computer networking (IP, telnet)

•   Experience with cryptographic operations and algorithms and common security functionality

•   Experience with C, Java, and scripting languages such as Python or Perl.

•   Conversation fluency in English.

We consider the following experience as a plus

•   Experience with task management and bug tracking systems such as Jira

•   Experience with continuous integration

•   Team leading and-or coordinating experience is a plus.

•   IoT Domain knowledge.
