Responsibilities:

Design and Build Middleware Solutions

• Create robust middleware solutions that enable integration between different systems, databases, and applications.
• Develop APIs, message queues, and other communication channels to ensure smooth data exchange.
• Collaborate with software developers, system administrators, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality middleware solutions.

Maintenance and Enhancement

• Continuously improve existing middleware components.
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize middleware configurations.
• Keep abreast of industry trends and apply innovative technologies to enhance middleware capabilities.

Requirements Gathering and Documentation

• Participate in business requirements gathering sessions.
• Document technical specifications and translate them into middleware design.
• Prepare accurate and comprehensive user-level documentation.

Quality Assurance and Testing

• Collaborate with Quality Assurance teams to review application functionality and test results.
• Resolve defects promptly and ensure high-quality program changes.

Estimation and Documentation

• Provide accurate and timely estimates for assigned work.
• Document completed work assignments thoroughly.

Must-Have Skills:

Middleware Technology Proficiency

• Strong experience in programming using middleware technologies, especially in Java.
• Familiarity with middleware frameworks such as Azure service fabric, Azure Functions, Azure middleware engine.

Web Application Development

• Proficiency in web application development using any MVC framework.
• Knowledge of XHTML, JavaScript, and CSS.

Database Skills

• Hands-on experience with both NoSQL and SQL databases.
• Ability to design and optimize database queries.

Good-to-Have Skills:

Cloud Integration

• Familiarity with cloud-based middleware solutions (e.g., AWS Lambda, Azure Service Bus).
• Understanding of serverless architectures.

Security and Performance Optimization

• Knowledge of security best practices for middleware.
• Experience in optimizing middleware performance.

Business Domain Knowledge

• Understanding of business processes and procedures related to the specific industry or domain.

Qualifications:

• Previous Experience: Minimum 6 years of working experience as a Middleware Developer.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a relevant field.
