The 3D Modelling Developer is responsible for designing and developing high-quality 3D models and assets for VR applications. This role requires strong technical skills in 3D modelling software and programming languages, as well as a keen eye for detail and creativity in creating visually appealing and realistic models.

Responsibilities:

1. Create detailed 3D models from conceptual designs or references mainly to be used in Virtual reality environment.
2. Optimize models for performance and efficiency.
3. Collaborate with artists, designers, and developers to ensure seamless integration of 3D assets into projects.
4. Implement textures, materials, lighting, and animations to enhance the realism of the models.
5. Test and debug 3D assets to ensure they meet quality standards.
6. Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in 3D modelling techniques.
7. Work on multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to deadlines.
8. Document the development process and provide technical support when needed.

Requirements:

1. Minimum 2 years experience in 3D modelling software such as Maya, Blender, or 3ds Max.
2. Strong experience with Polygon based 3D Software such as Blender.
3. Basic experience in standard CAD software.
4. Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Python, or JavaScript is a plus.
5. Strong understanding of rendering techniques and shader development.
6. Familiarity with game engines such as Unity or Unreal Engine is desired.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
8. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
9. A portfolio showcasing previous 3D modelling projects is required.

10. This role is based out of Chennai location and remote working is only possible to an extent.
