Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced Surveyor to join our team at DCS Group. As a Surveyor, you will be responsible for conducting topographic surveys, route planning, and land acquisition activities. You will play a crucial role in gathering and interpreting data to support our ongoing projects, specifically in the railway corridor sector. This is a full-time position based in Ratlam, Madhya Pradesh, India.
Qualifications and Skills
- A minimum of 10 years of experience as a Surveyor in a relevant field.
- Proficient in surveying techniques, equipment, and software.
- Strong knowledge of topographic surveys, contours, and route planning.
- Experience with railway corridor projects is highly preferred.
- Ability to interpret survey data and generate accurate reports and drawings.
- Familiarity with land acquisition processes and regulations.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
- Valid certification or license in surveying is a plus.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Conduct topographic surveys to collect accurate data on land features, contours, and structures.
- Utilize surveying equipment and software to measure and record precise measurements.
- Assist in route planning for railway corridors, considering factors such as elevation, curves, and land use.
- Contribute to land acquisition activities by assessing the suitability and impact of potential sites.
- Prepare detailed reports and drawings based on survey data, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project requirements.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to provide survey data and support ongoing projects.
- Stay updated with industry standards and advancements in surveying techniques and technology.
- Maintain and calibrate surveying equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while conducting surveying activities.
