Profile - Sr. BIM Modeler

Qualification - B.Tech - Civil , Architecture

Experience - Min. 8+ yrs in residential and commercial project (exp. in BIM Modeling for architectural and structural services . Proficiency in software such as Revit , AutoCAD , Navisworks and other BIM tools)

Job Description

Develop detailed 3D BIM models using Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and other BIM software.

Create LOD (Level of Development) 300, 400, and 500 models for architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines.

Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure design accuracy and clash-free models.

Conduct clash detection and coordination using Navisworks or Colibri to resolve conflicts between different disciplines.

Implement BIM Execution Plans (BEPs) and ensure team compliance with project BIM standards.

Lead a team of BIM modelers and coordinators, ensuring smooth workflow and task allocation.

Provide training, mentorship, and performance feedback to BIM team members.

Conduct regular coordination meetings with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Ensure that team members follow BIM standards, best practices, and project deadlines.

Assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure quality control of BIM deliverables. Establish and enforce BIM workflows, protocols, and standards across projects.

Work closely with BIM managers and project engineers to optimize BIM workflows.

Integrate BIM with 5D (cost estimation) and 6D (facility management) models for enhanced project efficiency.

Keep up with advancements in BIM technology and recommend process improvements. Prepare BIM reports, clash detection reports, and coordination summaries for management.

Maintain project documentation, including BIM guidelines, model updates, and revision logs.

Ensure all BIM models comply with local building regulations and project-specific requirements.
