Qualification - B.Tech / Diploma - mech.

Experience - Min. 8+ yrs. in PEB Manufacturing Plant 

Salary - Upto - 6 LPA

Location - Pune

Job Description

Implement and maintain quality control procedures for PEB manufacturing.

Ensure compliance with industry standards such as ISO 9001, AWS D1.1, AISC, IS 2062, and ASTM.

Monitor and control fabrication, welding, cutting, painting, and assembly quality.

Develop and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Quality Management Systems (QMS).

Conduct incoming material inspections (structural steel, fasteners, coatings, etc.).

Perform in-process and final inspections of fabricated components and welded structures.

Use Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) methods such as Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Magnetic Particle Testing (MPT), and Dye Penetrant Testing (DPT) to check weld quality.

Verify dimensional accuracy, surface finish, and joint integrity as per drawings. Ensure proper welding procedures, electrode selection, and welding techniques are followed.

Monitor welding defects (porosity, cracks, undercut, distortion) and suggest corrective actions.

Conduct Welder Qualification Tests (WQT) and maintain welder performance records.
