Job Description

Developing and implementing quality control plans in line with industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001) and client requirements.

Establishing quality parameters and benchmarks for raw materials, production processes, and finished products.

Reviewing and updating quality standards based on new regulations, industry trends, and customer feedback.

Monitoring each stage of the steel production process, including raw material selection, melting, casting, and rolling, to ensure compliance with quality standards.

Implementing Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Six Sigma methodologies to identify and minimize variations in production.

Conducting regular process audits to confirm adherence to quality protocols and identify potential areas for improvement.

Overseeing material testing procedures, including mechanical testing (e.g., tensile strength, hardness, toughness) and chemical composition analysis.

Coordinating with laboratory teams for non-destructive testing (NDT), ultrasonic testing, and radiography to detect any flaws in materials or finished products.

Ensuring that inspection tools and measurement instruments are calibrated and maintained regularly.
