Experience- Min. 6+ yrs in Manufacturing plant (proficient in QC tools - calipers , micrometers , CMM and familiarity with SPC , roots cause analysis and quality software (ISO 9001 , Six Sigma )

Job Description


Quality Planning and Control:

Develop and implement quality control plans that define inspection points, criteria, and testing methods.

Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistent product quality and adherence to specifications.


Process Monitoring and Improvement:

Monitor manufacturing processes to ensure they align with quality standards and identify areas for improvement.

Use Lean, Six Sigma, and other process improvement methodologies to minimize waste, reduce defects, and enhance efficiency.


Inspection and Testing:

Conduct inspections and tests on raw materials, in-process items, and finished products to verify quality standards.

Develop testing protocols, calibrate testing equipment, and ensure accurate results.


Root Cause Analysis and Problem Solving:

Investigate quality issues, analyze defects, and conduct root cause analysis using tools like Fishbone Diagrams, 5 Whys, and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA).

Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to resolve quality issues and prevent recurrence.


Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain detailed records of inspections, tests, and quality metrics for analysis and reporting.

Generate quality reports, trend analyses, and dashboards to provide insights into quality performance and improvements.


Supplier Quality Management:

Collaborate with suppliers to ensure the quality of incoming materials meets required standards.

Conduct supplier audits, assess quality systems, and work with suppliers to address quality issues.


Compliance and Certification:

Ensure manufacturing processes and products comply with relevant industry standards, regulations, and certifications (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100).

Lead internal audits and prepare for external audits by regulatory bodies or clients.
