JOB DESCRIPTION
Planning and Scheduling: Develop production schedules and plans to meet customer demands and deadlines.
Workflow Optimization: Analyze and optimize the foundry's workflow to improve productivity and reduce waste.
Monitoring and Control: Oversee the daily operations to ensure processes run smoothly and meet quality standards.
Quality Control: Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure the castings meet specifications.
Inspection and Testing: Supervise the inspection and testing of castings to identify defects and ensure compliance with standards.
Continuous Improvement: Promote continuous improvement practices like Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing to enhance quality and efficiency.
Process Development: Design and develop new processes or improve existing ones for better efficiency and quality.
Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical issues that arise during the production process.
Equipment Maintenance: Ensure that production equipment is properly maintained and operated to prevent breakdowns and prolong their lifespan.
(B) : Autocad Designer
Experience - . in foundry industry ( knows auto cad, casting stimulation software like Qcast, solidworks, manage inventory in excel and maintain weight log)
JOB DESCRIPTION
Creating 2D and 3D Models: Using AutoCAD software to produce accurate 2D drawings and 3D models of castings, molds, and related components.
Detailed Technical Drawings: Developing detailed technical drawings that specify dimensions, materials, and processes to be used in production.
Blueprints for Production: Preparing blueprints and schematics that serve as guidelines for the production team in the foundry.
Conceptual Design: Collaborating with product development teams to conceptualize new casting designs that meet customer specifications and industry standards.
Prototype Design and Testing: Designing prototypes and overseeing their testing to ensure they meet the required performance and quality criteria.
Design Optimization: Continuously improving and optimizing designs to enhance performance, reduce material usage, and streamline production processes.
Mold Design: Designing molds and patterns for casting processes, ensuring they are precise and functional for the desired end products.
Tooling Layout: Creating tooling layouts that optimize the casting process, taking into account factors like material flow, cooling rates, and shrinkage.
Simulation and Validation: Using CAD software to simulate casting processes and validate the design, ensuring it meets production and quality requirements.
