Job Overview

We are seeking a Procurement Specialist (Solar Project) to join our team at DCS Group. As a Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for managing all procurement activities related to solar projects. This includes sourcing and selecting suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely delivery of materials and services. The ideal candidate will have 4 to 6 years of experience in procurement, specifically in the solar industry. This is a full-time position based in Hyderabad, Telangana, India.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
• 4 to 6 years of experience in procurement, specifically in the solar industry
• Proven experience in strategic procurement planning and supplier management
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills
• Knowledge of cost management techniques
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Experience in supply chain optimization and quality assurance
• Ability to perform risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies
• Proficiency in budget management
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Roles and Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end procurement activities for solar projects, including supplier selection, negotiation, and contract management
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and ensure timely procurement of materials and services
• Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize cost, quality, and delivery timelines
• Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and maintain a strong supplier base
• Evaluate suppliers based on quality, pricing, and delivery capabilities
• Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to secure favorable pricing and terms
• Monitor supplier performance to ensure compliance with contractual obligations
• Identify and mitigate procurement risks
• Manage budgets and track procurement expenses
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in solar procurement
