Job Description


Develop Project Quality Plans (PQP): Create comprehensive quality plans specific to construction projects, outlining the quality standards, procedures, and protocols to be followed.


Prepare Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs): Design ITPs that detail inspection points, test methods, and acceptance criteria for various construction activities and materials.


Documentation Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of quality-related documents, including project specifications, material certificates, test reports, and inspection records.


Material Verification: Ensure that all materials used in the project comply with the required specifications and standards. This includes checking supplier certifications and conducting material tests.


Material Testing: Oversee or conduct tests on construction materials (e.g., concrete, steel, soil) to verify their quality and suitability for use in the project.


Supplier Evaluation and Coordination: Evaluate and manage suppliers to ensure they provide materials that meet quality requirements. Coordinate with suppliers for timely delivery and quality control of materials. 


Conduct Inspections: Perform regular on-site inspections to verify that construction activities comply with project plans, specifications, and quality standards.


Monitor Workmanship: Assess the quality of workmanship in construction activities to ensure it meets the project’s quality standards and specifications.


Manage Non-Conformities: Identify, document, and manage any non-conformities or deviations from quality standards. Work with the project team to implement corrective actions and prevent recurrence.
