Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Polymer Production Head to lead our polymer production operations in the recycling industry. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of polymer processing and recycling technologies, with a proven track record in managing production teams and optimizing processes. This role is crucial for ensuring the efficient production of high-quality recycled polymers and contributing to our sustainability goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership and Management:

Lead and mentor a team of production managers, engineers, and technicians.

Develop and implement production strategies to achieve operational goals and enhance efficiency.

Foster a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement within the production team.

Production Oversight:

Oversee all aspects of polymer production, including material handling, extrusion, molding, and quality control. Ensure production targets are met while adhering to safety and environmental regulations.

Implement best practices for optimizing production processes and minimizing waste.

Process Optimization:

Analyze production data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.

Lead initiatives for process enhancements, cost reduction, and productivity increases.

Collaborate with R&D and engineering teams to integrate new technologies and techniques.

Quality Assurance:

Develop and enforce quality control standards to ensure the production of high-quality recycled polymers. Address and resolve any quality issues or non-conformities promptly.

Implement and maintain ISO and other relevant quality management systems.

Resource Management:

Manage production budgets, resources, and equipment effectively.

Forecast material and labor needs, and coordinate with supply chain and procurement teams.

Oversee maintenance and calibration of production equipment.

Regulatory Compliance:

Ensure compliance with industry regulations, environmental laws, and safety standards.

Prepare and submit necessary reports and documentation for regulatory agencies.

Stakeholder Engagement:

Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including senior management, to align production objectives with company goals.

Communicate production performance and updates to stakeholders effectively
