Job Overview
The Planning Lead role at DCS Group is a mid-level position requiring 4 to 6 years of experience. As a Planning Lead, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans to drive business growth. This role is based in Bangalore, Karnataka, India and is a full-time position.
Qualifications and Skills

Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth
- Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer insights to identify business opportunities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute marketing and sales strategies
- Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of strategic initiatives
- Identify risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate them
- Provide guidance and support to junior team members
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in strategic planning

Profile - Planning lead
Qualification - B.Tech - civil
Salary - upto 7.5 Lac CTC
Experience - Min. 3+ yrs (in a Project Planning role within the construction industry.), PMP / PSP or APICS Certification in PPC will be an added advantage.

Job Description
● Create detailed project schedules using specialized software (such as Primavera
P6, Microsoft Project) to outline the sequence of activities, timelines, and
milestones for the construction project.
● Allocate resources like manpower, equipment, materials, and subcontractors
based on project needs and timelines.
● Optimize resource utilization to ensure efficient project execution.
● Identify potential risks that could impact the project schedule.
● Develop strategies to mitigate risks, considering factors such as weather
conditions, unforeseen delays, or material shortages.
● Regularly monitor project progress against the planned schedule.
● Identify deviations and propose corrective actions to keep the project on track.
● Maintain detailed records of project schedules, changes, delays, and other
relevant information.
● Generate reports for stakeholders to provide updates on project progress and
potential issues.
● Collaborate with the cost management team or Quantity Surveyor Team to align
schedules with budgets.
● Monitor expenses related to scheduling changes or delays.
● Analyze past projects to identify areas for improvement in scheduling, resource
allocation, or process efficiency.
