Job Description

Melting Process: Oversee the melting of metals in furnaces, ensuring that the process adheres to the required standards.

Furnace Operation: Manage the operation of various types of furnaces, including induction, electric arc, and cupola furnaces, ensuring they run efficiently and safely.

Alloy Preparation: Ensure proper alloying by adding the correct amounts of alloying elements to the molten metal to achieve the desired material properties.

Temperature Control: Monitor and control the temperature of the molten metal to ensure it meets the specific requirements for casting.

Material Testing: Conduct tests on raw materials and molten metal to ensure they meet the required chemical composition and mechanical properties.

Defect Analysis: Analyze and troubleshoot defects in castings, such as porosity, shrinkage, or inclusions, and implement corrective actions.

Documentation: Maintain detailed records of the melting process, including temperature logs, material usage, and test results.

Safety Protocols: Implement and enforce safety protocols to protect workers from the hazards associated with high-temperature operations.

Environmental Compliance: Ensure compliance with environmental regulations related to emissions, waste disposal, and energy consumption.

Training: Train operators and other staff on safe and efficient melting procedures.

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹360,000.00 per year
