Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Estimation Engineer to join our team at DCS Group. As an Estimation Engineer, you will be responsible for accurately estimating project costs, creating timelines, and monitoring costs throughout the project lifecycle. This is a full-time position with a junior level of experience required (1 to 3 years). The job location is Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
• Junior level experience in cost estimation (1 to 3 years)
• Proficient in using cost estimation software and tools
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent time management and task management abilities
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Good understanding of cost monitoring techniques
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Experience in relationship management with clients and stakeholders

Roles and Responsibilities

• Conduct project site visits and inspections to gather information required for cost estimation
• Analyze project requirements, including materials, labor, and equipment, to determine project costs
• Prepare accurate cost estimates using appropriate methods and software
• Create detailed project timelines, including milestones and deliverables
• Monitor project costs throughout the project lifecycle and make adjustments as necessary
• Prepare cost reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure accurate and timely cost estimation
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices in cost estimation
• Contribute to process improvements and standardization of cost estimation practices
