Job Overview

We are looking for a Mid-Level Estimation Engineer specializing in MEPF HVAC for our Full-Time position at DCS Group. The role primarily involves cost estimation, quantity takeoff, and project management for HVAC projects within the construction industry. The job location is at our headquarters in Jaipur, Rajasthan, and it caters to the Recruitment Firm / Job Consultancy industry.

Qualifications and Skills

Qualification - B.Tech - Mech.

Experience - Min. 3+ years of exp. in Tendering/Estimation and 2+ yrs. of Site Execution in in MEPF-HVAC Industry

• Drawing reading (Mandatory skill)
• Cost Estimation: Experience in calculating the expected cost of projects based on detailed drawings and specifications.
• Quantity Takeoff: Ability to estimate the number of materials and labor required for projects efficiently.
• Construction Materials Knowledge: Proficiency in identifying and understanding various construction materials used specifically in HVAC projects.
• Project Management: Skills in planning, executing, and overseeing projects to ensure they are completed in a timely and cost-effective manner.
• Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze data, understand complex situations, and devise effective solutions.
• Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to ensure all estimates are accurate and all project details are covered.
• Critical Thinking: Ability to think critically and make well-informed decisions based on project requirements and constraints.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Reviewing project drawings and specifications to prepare accurate cost estimates for HVAC systems and components.
• Performing detailed quantity takeoffs to determine equipment, materials, and labor required for projects.
• Consulting with project managers and engineers to assist in planning and executing HVAC projects efficiently.
• Preparing and presenting detailed reports on cost estimates and project timelines to stakeholders.
• Collaborating with procurement teams to source cost-effective materials and equipment.
• Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements in all project estimates.
• Utilizing project management software tools to track progress, manage changes, and communicate with team members.
• Maintaining accurate records of all estimation activities and project costs for future reference and audits.
