Profile - Accounts & Finance Manager
Qualification - B.Com , M.Com , MBA or CPA is preferred
Experience - 5+ years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in the steel manufacturing, PEB, or solar steel industry (Proficient in using ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Tally) and advanced MS Excel skills.)

Job Description
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, cost accounting, and budgeting.
Understanding of tax laws, regulatory compliance, and industry-specific financial regulations.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Financial Reporting & Analysis:
Prepare and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with industry
standards and regulatory requirements.
Analyze financial data and produce reports on key performance indicators (KPIs), including cost of goods sold (COGS), gross margins, and profitability.
Perform variance analysis to identify discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
Oversee the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Cost Management & Budgeting:
Develop, manage, and review cost accounting systems for steel manufacturing, PEB, and solar steel projects.
Assist in the development and tracking of annual budgets, forecasts, and financial projections.
Monitor and control manufacturing costs and inventory, ensuring proper allocation and cost control.
Conduct cost audits and perform reconciliations to ensure accuracy in the cost structure.
Regulatory Compliance & Audits:
Ensure adherence to local, state, and federal tax laws and accounting principles, including GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
Prepare documentation and support for internal and external audits.
Maintain and update accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations.
Handle tax filings and compliance related to the manufacturing sector, including sales tax, VAT, and other statutory requirements.
Financial Systems & Processes:
Oversee and improve financial processes and accounting systems for better accuracy, efficiency, and
transparency.
Maintain the general ledger and perform monthly reconciliations of all accounts.
Liaise with IT teams for the enhancement of ERP systems and implementation of best practices for financial reporting and budgeting.
Team Leadership & Collaboration:
Lead and mentor a team of junior accountants, ensuring effective collaboration and knowledge sharing.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including operations, procurement, and sales, to ensure accurate reporting of financial data.
Support management with financial decision-making and business strategy.
Project Costing for Steel Manufacturing & PEB:
Oversee project-based accounting and ensure that all project costs are accurately tracked and reported.
Review and report on the financial health of ongoing and completed projects, including PEB structures and solar steel installations.
Ensure that project billing, milestones, and payments align with project contracts
