Job Overview

We are seeking an Investor Relations Business Development professional to join our dynamic team in Gurgaon on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will have 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in stakeholder management and fundraising within the venture capital and private equity industry. This role is crucial for building relationships with investors, managing financial portfolios, and supporting the growth of our startup ecosystem.

Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum of 1-3 years of work experience in investor relations, business development, or a related field within the venture capital or private equity industry.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with a proven ability to communicate effectively and build relationships with various stakeholders.
• In-depth financial acumen, including the ability to understand financial statements, investment metrics, and portfolio management.
• Strong relationship management and networking capabilities to engage with potential investors and maintain existing relationships.
• Expertise in fundraising, including the ability to present compelling investment opportunities and secure funding.
• Experience in portfolio management, ensuring the effective tracking and reporting of investment performance and returns.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.
• High level of initiative and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Manage and develop relationships with current and potential investors, ensuring effective communication and satisfaction.
• Support the fundraising process, including preparing and presenting investment materials to potential investors.
• Analyze financial statements and investment metrics to provide insights and recommendations for portfolio management.
• Collaborate with the internal team to identify and pursue new business development opportunities and partnerships.
• Track and report on investment performance and returns, providing regular updates to investors and stakeholders.
• Assist in organizing investor events, meetings, and communications to foster engagement and support for our startups.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of investor relations strategies and processes within the company.
• Maintain a strong understanding of market trends, industry developments, and competitor activities to inform investment decisions.
