Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled MEP Design Engineer to join our team at Inches N Feet. As an MEP Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and coordinating the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for our diverse range of projects. This is a full-time position based in Bangalore, offering a competitive salary range and the opportunity to work with a dynamic team of professionals in the architecture and planning industry.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field
• Proven experience as a MEP Design Engineer or similar role
• Strong knowledge of MEP design principles, building codes, and regulations
• Proficiency in Revit, and other MEP design software
• Familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modeling) and MEP coordination
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Good communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design and coordinate the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for various projects
• Prepare detailed MEP drawings, layouts, and specifications using Revit software
• Conduct site visits to gather necessary information and ensure the accurate implementation of MEP systems
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop cost-effective and energy-efficient designs
• Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and standards
• Review and analyze project specifications and technical requirements
• Select appropriate equipment and materials for MEP systems
• Perform calculations and simulations to optimize system performance
• Prepare project reports, cost estimates, and progress updates
• Assist in the coordination and supervision of MEP installations
• Stay updated with industry trends, advancements, and best practices in MEP design
