Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled Production Engineer to join our team at Illusion Dental Laboratory. As a Production Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the manufacturing process, ensuring efficiency, quality, and timely delivery of dental restorations. This is a mid-level position with 4 to 6 years of experience, based in Mumbai Suburban, Maharashtra, India. The employment type for this role is Full-Time.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Production Engineer in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of production processes and quality control principles.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing methodologies, such as Kaizen and 5S.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
• Good communication and leadership skills.
• Attention to detail to ensure accurate and precise manufacturing.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Implement and streamline production processes to optimize efficiency and productivity.
• Oversee the manufacturing of dental restorations, ensuring adherence to quality standards and specifications.
• Monitor production output and implement corrective actions as necessary to meet customer demands.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve production methods and resolve technical issues.
• Develop and maintain production documentation, including work instructions, standard operating procedures, and quality records.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement Lean Manufacturing principles such as Kaizen and 5S.
• Train and mentor production staff to ensure their understanding of manufacturing processes and quality standards.
• Assist in the evaluation and procurement of production equipment and materials.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the production area.
