The USA Accounting Department is responsible for managing and overseeing financial operations for the United States region. The team's primary responsibilities include:

Accounting Operations:

· Manage day-to-day accounting activities, ensuring compliance with international accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP).

· Review and finalize accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

· Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for global subsidiaries.

Reconciliations & Analysis:

· Perform bank reconciliations, inter company reconciliations, and other critical account reconciliations.

· Analyze financial discrepancies and provide actionable solutions.

Audits & Controls:

· Support internal and external audits by providing required data and clarifications.

· Implement and monitor financial controls to safeguard assets and ensure data integrity.

Process Improvement:

· Identify areas for process optimization and work on automating manual tasks.

· Stay updated on global accounting practices and incorporate best practices into processes.

 

 

Stakeholder Communication:

· Collaborate with international stakeholders, finance teams, to ensure smooth operations.

· Respond to queries and resolve issues related to accounting and finance.

Other responsibility :

· MIS and other financial statement preparation for Indian entity and local accounting partially

Skills & Competencies:

· Strong knowledge of IFRS/US GAAP and international accounting principles.

· Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, or Oracle).

· Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and financial modeling).

· Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

· Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

Qualifications:

· Education: Inter CA, CA, or equivalent degree in Accounting/Finance.

· Additional Certifications (preferred): CPA, ACCA, or equivalent.
