Job Overview

The Design Technician position at Illusion Dental Laboratory is an entry-level, full-time role based in Mumbai, ideal for freshers. Candidates will engage in designing and modeling dental products, contributing to our mission of providing meticulous dental restorations.

Job Description:-

Digital Modeling:      

·        Utilize advanced CAD software to create precise digital models of patients' teeth based on scans and impressions.

·        Collaborate with orthodontists to understand treatment plans and incorporate specific adjustments into digital designs.        

Treatment Planning:          

·        Analyze patient records, including x-rays and impressions, to develop comprehensive treatment plans in alignment with orthodontic principles.

·        Ensure that treatment plans address specific patient needs and adhere to established guidelines.        

Quality Control:      

·        Conduct thorough quality control checks on digital models and aligner designs to ensure accuracy and adherence to specifications.

·        Collaborate with the quality assurance team to address any discrepancies or issues identified during the review process.

Communication and Collaboration:

·        Work closely with cross-functional teams, including orthodontists, engineers, and production specialists, to communicate design requirements and ensure seamless integration into the production process.

·        Provide timely updates on project progress and address any design-related challenges that may arise.

Continuous Improvement:         

·        Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in aligner technology.

·        Propose and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in the design and production of aligners.
