POSITION SUMMARY:
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
As an Agiliti ServiceNow Engineer you would be joining a dynamic DevOps team that is delivering an integrated system to manage multiple aspects of Operations. The system is comprised of core functions (e.g. ITSM, CMDB), medium to large custom scoped back-office services, and large scale delivery applications from the ServiceNow store (e.g. Nuvolo). You will be responsible for translating business requirements into technical solutions, as well as performing peer reviews by those solutions created by partners. You will drive important design decisions with Architects. You will define subsystems and their interfaces, understand solution deployment, and design, and align to a shared technology vision.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop ServiceNow enhancements and modifications to existing applications such as ITSM, CMDB as well as create custom applications.
- Create and modify catalog items, portals, workflows, flow designer, and other ServiceNow development functions.
- Support, edit, and create integrations to other products and services including the use of integration hub and orchestration, webservices, APIs, and related transform mappings.
- Work as a team to troubleshoot complex issues or complex development but also be able to work on your own independently from others.
- Triage and support issues from users on the ServiceNow platform and related applications and modules.
- Document and annotate scripts, process flows, update sets, and other workflows associated with ServiceNow development.
- Conducts system analysis, process flows, system interfaces, validations, testing, training, implementation, and change management.
- Work closely with business leadership to respond to, and proactively identify, challenges that can be solved with system and/or process improvements.
- Work closely and effectively with others to maintain consistent process and documentation around requirements, design, development & deployment.
- Prepare necessary documentation and perform adequate knowledge transfer to the support, administration and learning and development teams to ensure effective change management and adoption.
- Maintains membership in relevant industry groups and conferences
ADDITIONAL SENIOR RESPONSIBILITIES
REQUIRED SKILLS & ABILITIES
- 5-8 years of experience in a system engineering role
- 4-8 years of hands-on ServiceNow administration and implementation
- ServiceNow Certified System Administration Certification required
- Desired ServiceNow Certified Application Developer
- Deep working knowledge of ITSM, ITIL, CMDB, IntegrationHub, and Flow Designer
- Strong problem solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills and willingness to present on a variety of functional or technical topics to broad audiences.
- Desire to learn and apply new technologies
