Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Manager (Operations) to join our team in Hyderabad. As a mid-level position, the role involves managing daily facilities operations, ensuring safety compliance, and coordinating with vendors for seamless service delivery. This is a full-time position that requires proficiency in facilities management and excellent problem-solving skills.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience in facilities management and maintenance, ensuring smooth daily operations.
- Strong vendor management skills to negotiate and coordinate with various service providers for seamless operations.
- In-depth understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems and their maintenance including the HVAC systems, UPS, Fire Alarm Systems, Office Equipment etc.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with internal teams, clients, and vendors.
- Strong problem-solving skills to quickly address and resolve any issues that arise with the facilities.
- Knowledge and experience with safety compliance to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
- Experience in the ticketing system for managing and tracking requests and issues.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, with a keen eye for detail and quality.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the facilities, ensuring all services are running smoothly and efficiently.
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers to ensure timely delivery of maintenance and support services like security and housekeeping.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
- Address and resolve any facility-related issues promptly, using a ticketing system for efficient tracking.
- Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify and address any maintenance or repair needs.
- Manage the maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with internal teams to understand and fulfill their facility-related requirements.
- Prepare and manage the budget for facility operations and maintenance, tracking expenses and optimizing costs.
