Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented ETL Tester with 4 - 7 yrs of experience to join our dynamic team. The ETL Tester will be responsible for ensuring the quality and accuracy of data transformations, extractions, and loading processes within our organization’s data warehouse.

Qualifications and Skills

• Experience in ETL/Data testing.
• Strong experience in SQL for data querying and validation
• Proficient with ETL Tools and Data Warehousing concepts
• Knowledge of Quality Assurance principles and practices
• Good Understanding and exposure to ETL and DWH process.
• Knowledge on automation tool and programming language
• Good to Have ETL testing experience on cloud environments- AWS, Azure, Google cloud.
• Integration with Data Sources and Destinations
• Strong analytical and Problem-solving Skills

Roles and Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans, scenarios, scripts, and procedures for ETL processes
• Identify and document defects, errors, and anomalies in data transformations
• Collaborate with teams to enhance data quality, performance, and reliability
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and data security regulations
• Execute SQL queries to perform backend database testing and verify/modify user data.
• Perform technical testing and analysis using SQL and automate testing tool,
• Involve with extraction routines to verify all the required data load into target systems.
• Work in multiple source data extraction and data transition from existing production system to test environment.
• Participate in documenting defects, resolve defects and coordinate with UAT team to get sign-off for the application/project.
• Collaborate with the development and data engineering teams to understand ETL processes and data flows.
• Design and execute comprehensive test plans for ETL processes, ensuring data integrity and accuracy throughout the data lifecycle.
• Identify and report data quality issues, anomalies, and discrepancies, and work closely with development teams to address and resolve them.
