Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Quality Assurance Engineer with expertise in Cyber Security Systems and Vulnerability Applications Testing. This is a remote opportunity, open to candidates across PAN India. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in ensuring the security, functionality, and performance of applications and systems, with a focus on identifying and mitigating vulnerabilities.

As a key member of our Quality Assurance team, you will be responsible for testing, identifying, and resolving issues in cyber security systems, with the goal of maintaining the highest standards of application security.

Key Responsibilities:

-Perform in-depth security testing of applications and systems to identify vulnerabilities and potential security risks.

-Develop and execute detailed test plans and test cases, particularly focused on security aspects of web and enterprise applications.

-Collaborate with development, product, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration of security features.

-Conduct vulnerability assess and penetration testing on different applications and infrastructure systems.

-Ensure that all security and vulnerability issues are logged, tracked, and reported effectively.

-Provide timely reports on test results and vulnerabilities found during testing cycles.

-Work closely with clients to understand their security concerns and provide regular feedback on the status of quality assurance efforts.

-Contribute to the development and maintenance of test automation scripts for vulnerability and security testing.

-Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, security threats, and testing tools to continuously improve QA processes.

-Perform risk assessments on systems and recommend solutions to mitigate security issues.

-Take an active role in the client-facing process, communicating clearly and confidently about testing progress and results.

Technical Expertise:

-Strong knowledge of cyber security principles, including secure coding practices, risk management, and vulnerability assessment.

-Hands-on experience with vulnerability scanning tools (e.g., Nessus, Qualys, Burp Suite, OWASP ZAP).

-Proficient in penetration testing techniques and tools.

-Experience with network security testing, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and endpoint security.

-Knowledge of security frameworks such as OWASP Top 10, NIST, and ISO 27001.

-Familiarity with cloud security practices, especially for AWS, Azure, and GCP environments.

-Proficiency in automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, JMeter, Appium) and scripting (Python, Bash, etc.).

-Confident in client-facing roles, with the ability to engage with clients and present QA outcomes professionally.
