Reporting to Team Lead – Electrical Design and Development

Role purpose Responsible for SAP activities for electrical design function.

Responsibilities & Accountability

 Carryout SAP activities for Design function

 Design calculation & output preparations

 BOM Preparations, Panel layout design using E-plan or CAD

 Sub assembly BOM and Material ID creation

 Implementation of standardization activities

 Co-ordination with electrical assembly team to improve the BOMs

 Preparation of special documentation related to design

 Updating design changes in the BOMs

 Component selection and plan for special materials

 Resolving the product and assembly related SAP issues

 CIP, Suggestion and improvement activities

 Implementation and sustenance of ISO standards

 Document issue

People Management and Learning & Development

 Requesting training needs and escalate to team lead

 Participating knowledge sharing sessions 

 Adherence to training mandays

Authority

 Responsible to take a design improvements with concurrence of team lead

 Responsible to release the BOMs, sale order configuration, special material

 Responsible to create the manual purchase request for special materials



MIS & Reporting

Responsible for maintaining cost savings, sale order configuration, process improvement and

supporting to assembly team to solve the issues related to BOMs – IBSC data to the Team

Knowledge Skills & Experience

Qualifications  Diploma in Electrical / Electronic Engineering

Experience  Fresh or 1 to 2 year’s experience
