Job Overview

iAgami Technologies is seeking a skilled API Automation Tester to join our team. This full-time, mid-level position is open to candidates with 4 to 6 years of relevant experience. The role is available across multiple locations, including Chennai, Bengaluru, Noida, Gurgaon, Kolkata, Hyderabad, and Coimbatore. The position requires expertise in API and API automation, focusing on delivering high-quality testing and ensuring seamless operation of technology solutions. Experience with REST Assured is also preferred.

Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum 4 years of experience in API and API automation testing with proven expertise (Mandatory skill).
• Proficiency in programming languages for developing robust test scripts that enhance testing efficiency.
• Strong scripting skills to automate repetitive tasks and validate API functionality effectively.
• Experience in comprehensive testing methodologies, ensuring software integrity and performance.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines to integrate automated tests and facilitate continuous delivery processes.
• Understanding and application of Agile methodologies to collaborate effectively in fast-paced environments.
• Excellent problem-solving skills for timely diagnosis and troubleshooting of API-related issues.
• Effective communication skills to liaise with development teams and contribute to projects proactively.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Develop and execute automated test scripts for APIs to ensure software quality and reliability.
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to refine requirements and address system functionalities.
• Conduct thorough regression testing as needed to ensure software stability post-deployment.
• Identify, document, and track defects and issues, facilitating prompt resolution with development teams.
• Update test procedures and maintain documentation to align with evolving project needs and requirements.
• Participate in code reviews to provide insights on testability, reliability, and performance improvements.
• Stay updated with industry trends and advancements to apply best practices in automation testing.
