Key Responsibilities:
- Brand Custodian: Safeguard and promote the VergeCloud brand by ensuring consistency in messaging across all content, from digital channels to events and paid media campaigns.
- Digital Content Creation: Develop engaging content for digital platforms, including the website, social media, and email marketing, ensuring it drives engagement and supports our overall marketing objectives.
- Paid Media Content: Collaborate with the marketing team to create effective paid media campaigns—writing ad copy and designing content that converts across platforms like Google Ads, LinkedIn, and more.
- PR & Media Content: Create impactful PR materials, including press releases, articles, and other communications, to elevate VergeCloud’s brand presence in industry publications and media.
- Event-Related Content: Develop content for events, webinars, and conferences, including presentations, keynote scripts, and marketing materials to generate leads and amplify brand awareness.
- Industry Expertise (IaaS/SaaS/PaaS): Leverage your experience in the IaaS/SaaS/PaaS industry to craft highly technical, insightful content that resonates with our B2B audience and showcases VergeCloud’s expertise.
- Lead Graphic Design Team: Lead and mentor the graphic design team to create visually compelling content that complements written materials and elevates the brand's impact across all marketing channels.
- Creative Thinking: Continuously push creative boundaries by developing innovative content strategies, bringing fresh ideas to the table that align with business goals and resonate with our target audience.
- Sales Enablement: Support sales teams with effective collateral (sales playbooks, case studies, presentations, etc.) that empowers them to engage with prospects and close deals faster.
- Campaign & Pipeline Support: Collaborate with the marketing team to create content that supports lead generation and nurturing efforts, contributing to the full sales pipeline.
- Content Performance Tracking: Analyze content performance, track key metrics, and optimize campaigns to ensure content consistently delivers value and meets ROI objectives.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and sales, to align content strategies with business goals.
Mandatory Skills:
- Proven Expertise in Content Creation: 5+ years of experience writing B2B content, with a deep understanding of crafting messages that drive results in the tech, SaaS, and cloud infrastructure sectors.
- Brand Management: Demonstrated ability to maintain brand consistency and safeguard the company’s voice across all content channels.
- Tech-Savvy Writer: Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, engaging, and persuasive content for a variety of audiences.
- Creative & Strategic Mindset: Strong creative thinking skills and a strategic approach to content creation and campaign planning.
- Communication Mastery: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and an ability to craft compelling narratives.
- Paid Media & PR Content Expertise: Experience creating content for paid media campaigns and PR materials, with the ability to tailor messaging for different formats and channels.
- Social Media & Digital Marketing Proficiency: Strong understanding of social media platforms, digital marketing tools, and best practices for content distribution and engagement.
- Team Leadership: Experience in leading and mentoring a design or content team, fostering creativity, and driving team impact.
- Quick Learner & Self-Starter: Able to rapidly understand new industries and content requirements, while demonstrating proactive initiative and a drive to meet tight deadlines.
Desired Skills:
- Certifications & Courses: Relevant professional certifications in marketing, content writing, or tech industries are a plus.
- B2B Tech Experience: Experience in B2B marketing within the cloud infrastructure, SaaS, or IaaS/PaaS sectors is highly preferred.
