The Sales Head will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive sales strategy for the home textile segment, driving revenue growth, managing key accounts, and leading a dynamic sales team. This role involves overseeing both domestic and international sales operations, building strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and retail partners, and ensuring profitability.
- Sales Strategy & Planning:
- Develop and implement a robust sales strategy aligned with company goals.
- Identify new markets, customer needs, and growth opportunities.
- Set, monitor, and achieve sales targets and KPIs for revenue growth.
- Team Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to meet their individual and collective goals.
- Conduct regular sales training, performance reviews, and coaching sessions.
- Client & Account Management:
- Maintain strong relationships with key Architects and Interior decorators
- Negotiate contracts, close deals, and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Work closely with clients to understand their needs and offer tailored solutions.
- Market Analysis & Business Development:
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and customer preferences.
- Explore and expand the client base.
- Sales Operations & Reporting:
- Oversee the sales pipeline, forecasting, and budgeting processes.
- Track and report on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities.
- Ensure that CRM and other sales tools are used effectively across the team.
- Product Knowledge:
- Maintain a deep understanding of the company’s home textile products, including materials, designs, and manufacturing processes.
- Collaborate with the product development team to provide customer feedback and market insights.
- Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with the Design & Project, marketing, production, and supply chain teams to ensure smooth execution of sales operations.
Experience: 8+ years of progressive sales experience, preferably within the textile & home décor,
Proven experience in managing large sales teams and achieving revenue targets.
Leadership: Strong leadership and team management skills, with a track record of building high-performance sales teams.
- Negotiation: Excellent negotiation skills and experience in closing high-value deals.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Market Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the textile/home décor market.
- Analytical: Strong analytical and decision-making skills, with experience in market research and sales forecasting.
- Technology: Proficiency in CRM systems, MS Office, and sales management software.
- Flexibility: Willingness to travel as required.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. MBA preferred.
