The Sales Head will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive sales strategy for the home textile segment, driving revenue growth, managing key accounts, and leading a dynamic sales team. This role involves overseeing both domestic and international sales operations, building strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and retail partners, and ensuring profitability.


  • Sales Strategy & Planning:
  • Develop and implement a robust sales strategy aligned with company goals.
  • Identify new markets, customer needs, and growth opportunities.
  • Set, monitor, and achieve sales targets and KPIs for revenue growth.
  • Team Leadership:
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to meet their individual and collective goals.
  • Conduct regular sales training, performance reviews, and coaching sessions.
  • Client & Account Management:
  • Maintain strong relationships with key Architects and Interior decorators
  • Negotiate contracts, close deals, and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Work closely with clients to understand their needs and offer tailored solutions.
  • Market Analysis & Business Development:
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and customer preferences.
  • Explore and expand the client base.
  • Sales Operations & Reporting:
  • Oversee the sales pipeline, forecasting, and budgeting processes.
  • Track and report on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities.
  • Ensure that CRM and other sales tools are used effectively across the team.
  • Product Knowledge:
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the company’s home textile products, including materials, designs, and manufacturing processes.
  • Collaborate with the product development team to provide customer feedback and market insights.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration:
  • Work closely with the Design & Project, marketing, production, and supply chain teams to ensure smooth execution of sales operations.


Experience: 8+ years of progressive sales experience, preferably within the textile & home décor,

Proven experience in managing large sales teams and achieving revenue targets.

Leadership: Strong leadership and team management skills, with a track record of building high-performance sales teams.


  • Negotiation: Excellent negotiation skills and experience in closing high-value deals.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Market Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the textile/home décor market.
  • Analytical: Strong analytical and decision-making skills, with experience in market research and sales forecasting.
  • Technology: Proficiency in CRM systems, MS Office, and sales management software.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to travel as required.


Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. MBA preferred.
