Job Overview

We are looking for a Head Of Engineering to join our team in Bengaluru. This is a senior-level, full-time position requiring 7 to 10 years of work experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering leadership, particularly in backend development with Java, and possess excellent communication and decision-making skills.


Qualifications and Skills

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in engineering leadership roles, with a maximum of 10 years.
  • Proven experience in Java and backend development, demonstrating advanced technical capabilities.
  • Strong leadership abilities with a track record of effectively managing and scaling engineering teams.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders.
  • Decision-making skills with the ability to provide strategic direction and make critical technical decisions.
  • Experience working in a startup or agile environment is highly desirable.
  • Ability to design and implement custom solutions based on organizational demands and budgets.
  • Experience in the Human Resources Services industry or related fields is a plus.


Roles and Responsibilities

  • Lead the engineering team in the design, development, and implementation of innovative technology solutions.
  • Collaborate with executives and other departments to align engineering initiatives with business goals.
  • Supervise and mentor engineering team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Oversee the development and maintenance of backend systems, ensuring scalability and reliability.
  • Make strategic decisions regarding technology stack, architecture, and development processes.
  • Provide technical leadership and expertise during project planning, execution, and delivery.
  • Ensure that engineering processes are agile, cost-effective, and tailored to organizational needs.
  • Monitor and evaluate the impact of engineering initiatives on talent attraction, employee experience, and productivity.
