Global comp and ben Level 9 AVP projects lead role
Job Summary: The incumbent holder will lead the central projects team for Compensation and benefits area which will include Budgeting, MSI – increase cycles, campus proposals, compensation structures and policies portfolio at Global level. He/She is a compensation and benefits expert who can project manage well and understand the depth and breadth of the portfolios assigned.
He/She must be able to gather needs from other GU wise comp and ben leads and then prepare the budget proposals and then summarize the same for the leaders. He/She will need to liase and partner with multiple stakeholders internally including Finance/CIO/technology on any Talent policy matters that requires review, re-visit and will be the custodian of all handbooks for the organization. He/She will partner with HR leads on matters related to Campus salaries or Hiring grids review and will be the central team that publishes or revises the hiring grids for the Comp and ben GU teams to leverage and use.
Key Responsibilities:
• Will centrally hold some of the assigned portfolios for the Compensation and benefits team. • Subject matter expert in Compensation and benefits matters.
• Ability to understand requirements, present executive summaries for budgets and track the same. • Must be able to present concise summaries and present proposals on campus hiring grids. • Must bring in strong project management skills role.
• Should drive priorities and tasks through strong focus on relationships but also ensure activities are completed within the necessary time frame.
• Must be able to analyze, present the findings and summarize to both HR or internal leadership the problem statement and way forward.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations related to compensation.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s or Masters degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in compensation management, project management role • Excellent stakeholder management skills
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
. • Should be agile and able to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Demonstrate agility. • Strong mentor and coach to assigned team members if any.
• Highly proactive with a strong bias towards execution and closure of matters.
• Self starter with ability to multi task, multi prioritize and strong drive.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in a similar industry.
• Preferred someone from a similar industry in project management skills
