Job Overview
We are seeking a seasoned Engineering Manager to join our team in Bangalore. This senior-level, full-time position requires a maximum of 10 years of work experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities and technical expertise, with a proven ability to manage and build high-performing teams.
Qualifications and Skills
- A bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in Core Java (Mandatory skill).
- Previous leadership experience managing engineering teams, preferably in a tech or product-based organisation.
- Excellent technical expertise with a strong background in backend development.
- Proven ability in team building, fostering collaboration, and driving team performance.
- Experience in strategic planning to align engineering goals with business objectives.
- Effective communication skills to interface with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a results-oriented mindset.

- Lead and manage a team of engineers, providing mentorship and fostering professional growth.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
- Oversee backend development projects ensuring timely delivery and adherence to best practices.
- Contribute to strategic planning and decision-making processes to drive the company's technical vision.
- Ensure effective communication and collaboration between engineering teams and other departments.
- Monitor project progress and performance, implementing improvements and corrective actions as needed.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements to ensure the technical direction remains innovative.
- Support the recruitment process by identifying and attracting top engineering talent to the organisation.
