Job Overview
We are seeking a Statutory Audit Assistant Manager to join our client in Noida. This full-time position entails assisting in audit procedures, preparation of financial statements, and ensuring adherence to financial regulations and standards. This role is integral to optimizing audit processes and contributing to effective financial reporting within our dynamic human resources services sector.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proficiency in GAAP, Ind AS and general accounting practices (Mandatory skill).
- Certified Chartered Accountant (CA) OR Semi qualified (CA) with up-to-date knowledge and certifications.
- Experience in statutory audit procedures and comprehensive financial reporting.
- Strong understanding and application of tax regulations and compliance.
- Ability to analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and regulatory adherence.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proven track record of effective collaboration within a team-oriented environment.
- Familiarity with accounting software and tools to streamline audit processes.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough statutory audits to ensure accurate and compliant financial statements.
- Prepare and review financial reports in alignment with GAAP and IND AS standards.
- Assist in tax planning, compliance, and reporting to optimize financial outcomes.
- Identify areas of risk and provide strategic recommendations for mitigation.
- Liaise with internal teams and external auditors to facilitate smooth audit processes.
- Ensure all audit activities adhere to company policies and regulatory guidelines.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior audit team members when required.
- Continuously update and enhance knowledge in accounting standards and practices.
