Job Overview

We are looking for a talented Mid-Level Android Developer to join our dynamic team at i4 Consulting. This full-time position is located in Bangalore, Chennai, or Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling various aspects of our Android development projects, contributing to improvements, and ensuring that company objectives are met through quality deliverables in line with client needs.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven experience in Android development with strong knowledge of Android SDK and different versions of Android.
• Proficiency in Java for developing Android applications with complex requirements and ensuring robust functionalities.
• Understanding and hands-on experience with Kotlin to design, build, and maintain high-performance applications.
• Experience in designing and implementing Android features and interfaces to enhance user engagement and satisfaction.
• Good grasp of Python for scripting and versatility in integrating with backend services.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to deploy customized solutions based on organizational demands and budget.
• Excellent collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Android (Mandatory skill) to provide insight to develop and deliver scalable and efficient applications.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain Android applications while ensuring high-performance quality and responsiveness.
• Collaborate closely with design and product teams to understand end-user requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance and fix any emerging issues throughout the development lifecycle.
• Continuously explore, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain quality and consistency across application modules.
• Document and demonstrate solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments, and clear code.
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders to gather feedback and refine product functionalities based on requirements.
• Contribute to the company's success by continually enhancing the development processes and implementing improvement measures.
