About the company :


We are building the first Edge Cloud from India for India. We are  rapidly scaling and redefining how businesses leverage CDN, cloud security, and edge computing. We’re looking for a dynamic Account Executive to drive new sales, build relationships, and expand our presence across India.


What You’ll Do:


● Sales & Prospecting: Identify, prospect, and close new business opportunities in India.

● Strategic Sales Execution: Develop and execute an industry-driven sales plan, generating and qualifying leads.

● Solution Selling: Work closely with assigned Solutions Engineers to articulate, define, and scope sales opportunities that meet customer needs.

● Pipeline Development: Build and maintain a healthy and sustainable pipeline to meet aggressive monthly quotas.

● Customer Engagement: Sell Verge Cloud solutions and services to marquee accounts, ensuring deep penetration and recall for our solutions

● Proposal & Negotiation: Oversee the customer proposal process to ensure alignment with client requirements and manage contract negotiations.

● Post-Sale Handoff: Provide seamless transition for the post-sale professional services team, ensuring smooth customer onboarding and adoption.

● Cross-functional Collaboration :Leverage Verge Cloud’s best-in-class solutions by actively building relationships with counterparts globally.

● Industry Representation: Represent Verge Cloud at industry events, promoting our value proposition and increasing market presence.


What You Bring:


● 5-8 years of experience in cloud solutions sales, with a strong individual track record of closing enterprise-level deals.

● Proven experience in interfacing with internal and external stakeholders as part of a solution-driven sales process.

● Strong ability to build rapport and relationships at all organizational levels.

● Excellent communication skills with the ability to synthesize complex solutions into simple, compelling messages.

● Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure, CDN, cyber security and Edge Computing solutions. ● Willingness and ability to travel extensively across India.
