Job Title: Accounts Executive
Location: Gurugram, Haryana

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Executive to join our curtains and blinds manufacturing
company. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably within the
manufacturing sector, and will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations,
cost control, financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with laws. His role is crucial to
maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the overall financial health of the company.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounts Payable/Receivable:
• Process vendor invoices, payments, and customer billings.
• Manage customer collections and maintain aging reports.
• Reconcile supplier accounts and resolve any discrepancies.
General Ledger Management:
• Record and post journal entries, including transactions related to materials, production,
and sales.
• Ensuring timely booking of entries in Books of accounts.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy in financial
reporting.
• Maintain up-to-date and accurate financial records in the ERP system.
• Prepare workings/ drafts/ MIS reports, as and when required.
Taxation & Compliance:
• Ensure timely filing of tax returns including GST, TDS and PT/PF.
• Assist in managing internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and
explanations.
• Support the Head of accounts in meeting all statutory timelines.
Bank Reconciliation:
• Perform bank reconciliations on a monthly basis and resolve discrepancies.
• Ensure correct accounting for all receipts and payments.Key Requirements:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Experience: 4-5 years of accounting experience in the manufacturing sector, preferably in
curtains, blinds, or related industries.
• Technical Skills:
o Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, or similar ERP systems).
o Advanced knowledge of MS Excel (including pivot tables, v-lookups, etc.).
o Understanding of inventory management, cost accounting, and financial reporting.
• Soft Skills:
o Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
o Strong communication and team collaboration abilities.
o Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Previous experience in the curtains, blinds, or textiles industry is a plus.
• Familiarity with costing methods specific to made-to-measure products.
• Experience in ERP implementation.
