Requirement: - Product design Engineer (5-7 years relevant exp. in Mechanisms & trim Parts) for Managing Built to print projects and supporting for Serial life activities.

Educational Qualification: - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical / Automotive with Above 60% academic score no backlogs or year down.

Desired profile/Job description

Ø Responsible for sharing product feasibility on built to print projects.

Ø Providing 3d feasibility feedbacks wherever required as per BTP project requirements.

Ø Skilled to handle Multiple BTP projects with good communication skills.

Ø In depth knowledge in areas of Mechanism parts like Air vents, cupholders, armrest etc.

Ø For his perimeter, define technical solutions and CAD data (2D & 3D) using standard CAD methodology.

Ø To be able to manage the internal team along with Cross functional communication.

Ø Support for design changes & feasibility on Quality issues observed in Production projects.

Ø Take part in Weekly or monthly review with Production Quality for any issues.

Ø Maintain Projects level Open Issue List and discuss with PM & customer for open points.

Ø Customer constraints and specifications, CAE implementations.

Ø ECR Management followed with PLM activities.

Ø Ensure overall “Product Design Performance” considering Customer specifications, regulations, and legislations.

Ø At the end of a program, make Lessons learned applicable to improve Design & support the programme post TKO till SOP+3months.

Ø Excellent Understanding of Tooling & PLM softwares.

Skills and competencies

Ø Thorough /knowledge in program specific CAD software Catia & UG.

Ø Thorough experience in designing in required domain, i.e. Automotive Mechanisms & Interiors.

Ø Good knowledge of CAD Methodology, Kinematics, and tooling knowledge.

Ø Knowledge of assigned program timing and deliverables at each milestone

Ø Knowledge of program standards, tools, and methods like Tolerance stack, DFMEA, CAE

Ø Problem solving techniques.

Ø Strategic and analytical capabilities.

Ø Electromechanical skills will be added advantage.
