Role Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned Area Sales Manager (ASM) to drive our sales operations in Delhi or the North Zone. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in FMCG sales, extensive experience in managing large sales teams, and a deep understanding of the local market and trade partners.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed company sales targets in the designated area.
Team Management: Lead, mentor, and manage a sales team of 20 to 30 members to ensure high performance and achievement of sales goals.
Sales Reporting: Prepare detailed sales reports and forecasts, and analyze market trends to inform strategic decisions.
Customer Engagement: Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
Ideal Candidate Traits:
Extensive Experience: Minimum of 6-15 years of experience in FMCG sales management, with a proven track record of success.
Market Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of the Delhi or North Zone market, including a strong network of trade partners and distributors.
Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to manage and motivate a large sales team effectively.
Relationship Management: Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with key trade partners and customers.
Analytical Abilities: Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
Minimum Qualifications and Skills:
Educational Background: Any graduate with relevant experience.
FMCG Experience: Significant experience in the FMCG sector with a focus on sales management.
Team Management: Experience in handling a sales team of 20 to 30 people.
Local Expertise: Comprehensive knowledge of the local topography and market dynamics.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM
