Job Overview

We are looking for a Steward to join our clients team at which is a 4 Star Hotel in Mysore. As a Steward, you will be responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction through excellent service and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. This is a Full-Time position based in Mysuru, Karnataka, India.

Qualifications and Skills

• 1 to 3 years of experience as a Steward or in a similar role
• Excellent customer service skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well in a team
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and handle pressure
• Basic math and cash handling skills
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
• Flexibility to work in shifts and weekends
• Prior knowledge of restaurant POS systems is a plus
• Able to speak Kannada would be preferred

Roles and Responsibilities

• Greet and seat customers in a timely and friendly manner
• Take customers' orders accurately and relay to the kitchen staff
• Serve food and beverages to customers in a professional and efficient manner
• Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing any concerns or issues
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the dining area and workspace
• Assist in the setup and breakdown of tables and chairs
• Handle cash and process payments accurately
• Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely and smooth service
• Adhere to health and safety regulations
• Upsell menu items and promote special offers to customers
