Job Overview

We are seeking a Banquet Captain to join our team at the Hare Krishna Movement in Chennai. This is a full-time, junior-level position suitable for candidates with 1 to 3 years of experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong event coordination, customer service, and food and beverage knowledge skills. Qualifications and Skills

• Proven experience of 1-3 years in event coordination, enhancing guest experiences and ensuring event success.
• Exceptional customer service skills to address and fulfill guest needs effectively and promptly.
• In-depth food and beverage knowledge to guide menu selections and ensure service excellence (Mandatory skill).
• Strong team management skills for directing and motivating staff during events to meet desired outcomes.
• Effective problem-solving abilities to swiftly address issues and maintain seamless event operations.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate events from start to finish, ensuring all services align with guest expectations.
• Lead banquet staff, delegating tasks, providing guidance, and maintaining a high level of service.

• Ensure all food and beverage orders are accurately executed and serviced according to standards.

• Maintain inventory and supplies of banquet equipment and report any discrepancies or needs.
