Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Assistant Professor for our BCA program. This full-time position is based in Bangalore and requires a commitment to both teaching and research. Qualifications and Skills

BCA /MCA BSC /MSC

• Proven teaching experience in a similar role with exceptional ability to deliver engaging lectures (Mandatory skill)
• Demonstrated research capabilities in the field of Computer Applications with a strong publication record (Mandatory skill)
• Experience in developing and updating BCA curriculum to ensure it meets educational standards and student needs
• Excellent communication skills to convey technical concepts clearly and efficiently
• Strong problem-solving abilities to assist students and contribute to the department's academic goals
• Critical thinking skills to foster an environment that encourages student innovation and inquiry
• Effective time-management skills to balance teaching, research, and administrative duties
• Proven ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to a team-oriented environment

Roles and Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality lectures and educational sessions to BCA students, ensuring clarity and engagement
• Conduct research in relevant areas of Computer Applications and publish findings in reputable journals
• Develop and revise curriculum to reflect current industry trends and academic requirements
• Advise and mentor students on academic and career goals, providing necessary support and encouragement
• Participate in departmental meetings, curriculum planning, and contribute to policy-making
• Collaborate with faculty on research projects and teaching methodologies to enhance student learning outcomes
• Evaluate student performance through assignments, exams, and projects, providing constructive feedback
• Engage in professional development opportunities to stay current in the field and improve teaching practices
