Role: Sr. EE HW Engineer

Level –L6

Location: Hyderabad

(Position name: TC-EE Sr. HW Engineer)


Who are we looking for?

 HW Engineer will be responsible for the technical deliverables of embedded projects delivered

from India engineering Center for the Business Unit. He/ She will also be responsible for projects

to ensure that the projects are delivered on time with the right technical quality


Technical Skills:

 12+ years overall experience with strong technical experience in Product design, architecture

and implementation. Also should have demonstrated proficiency in working with

system/software/Firmware/hardware/ Electrical requirements development and validation

 Experience in embedded system design with 8/16/32-bit microprocessor design

 Excellent understanding of analog, digital and power supply design fundamentals;

 Experience gate / technical review process, good at documentation for technical solution

 Capable of analyzing the root cause when there is a failure related to electrical component and

can provide the mitigation and long-term solution;

 Familiar with knowledge of EMC/EMI, CCC, UL, RoHS ;

 Proficient in debugging instruments (digital oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers);

 Experience in practices for Design For Test (DFT), DFR and Design For Manufacturing(DFM)

background.

 Deliver designs to schedule, accountable for meeting deadlines, following up on outstanding

issues and tracking project issues to resolution.

 Prepare test plans, test results, design changes and provides inputs to meet the technical &

product requirements.

 Participate in design review for functional, performance, EMI/EMC, and other aspects like

(DFR/DFM/DFT). Prepare various design documents & artifacts as per design process

 Excellent problem solving skills as well as keen analytical abilities

 Working experience with Global team to deliver on sustenance projects

 Excellent communication skills.

 Ability to influence stakeholders. Good people management skillsets.

 Experience working with and effectively communicating (listen, speak, present and write) to all

levels of management and build working relationship with others outside of the program team

 Independently works on analysis and review of VoC to create technical specification

 Can identify early certification risks

 Critically reviews RCA finding to establish cause & effect.

 Encourages and displays actions to promote peer learning, cross pollination of ideas/practices

within areas of influence

 Strong design knowledge of 8/16/32micro-controller and processor based architectures and

designs using SRAM/SDRAM/Flash.

 Strong knowledge of mixed signal PCB layer stackup, analysis, layout review,

 Experience in Precision analog design including signal conditioning for various sensors and noise

reduction.

 Experience in design calculations and simulation for functional, timing analysis, power budgeting

and signal integrity

 Experience in design for EMI/EMC and other regulatory requirements, testing and fixing issues

to meet the requirements.

 Self-driven, creative and can work independently to drive timely closure on projects/activities

with high quality

 Clearly understands different options & utilizes optimization techniques

 Can define infra needs & clearly knows deployment schemes.

 Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to review and evaluate code and

writings of others.

Qualification:

 Masters or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics engineering or related field or

equivalent.
