- C++ and OOPs knowledge
- Linux system start-up sysvinit, systemd,
- Bootloaders : uBoot
- Message bus protocols like dbus
- Basic Linux Device driver knowledge
- Linux Build framework – Yocto-Bitbake, Makefiles
- Python scripting
- Debug using tools such as GDB
- Version control - GIT and SVN
