Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities:-

• Follow quality assurance procedures, measure and test standards for new applications, products, and/or enhancements to existing applications throughout their development/product lifecycles.
• Test and apply knowledge, value and use of Data Warehouse applications, and closely follow the evolution of business models and organizational priorities.
• Collaborate with Data Warehouse teams to promote effective utilization of data as well as tools for analytics relevant to the business needs.
• Prepare and deliver reports, recommendations or alternatives that address existing and potential trouble areas in IT systems and projects across the Enterprise.
• Test any enhancement to ensure its integration meet functional requirements, system compliance, and technical specifications; analyze test results in order to discover and report any defects, bugs, errors, configuration issues, and interoperability flaws.
• Ensure that testing activities allow applications to meet business requirements and systems goals, fulfill end-user requirements, and identify existing or potential issues.
• Make recommendations for applications improvements to programmers and application developers; communicates test progress, test results, and other relevant information to project stakeholders and management.
• Facilitate a consistent data governance approach for enterprise data needs.
• Ensure industry best practices in data architecture, data accessibility, data integration visualization, operational reporting and analytics.
• Test changes to data and systems in accordance with roadmap, business needs and changes to source systems within committed SLAs and quality standards.
• Ensure data accuracy during the modernization of analytic capabilities, processes and practices.
• Cultivates and disseminates knowledge of quality assurance best practices.
• Create and execute test plans and scripts that will determine optimal application performance according to specifications.
• Assure adherence to established QA standards for software development, application integration and information system performance, as well as corresponding documentation.
• Cultivates and disseminates knowledge of quality assurance best practices.
• Perform other job-related functions as assigned.

Qualification:-

Bachelors in Engineering (B.E.)

Experience:-

Minimum 4 to 6 years of QA and release management experience in Data Engineering and Integrations, relational database experience, preferably in data warehousing.

Skills:-

• Experience with Data Warehousing technologies (SQL Server, Oracle, Snowflake or comparable platform).
• Experience with ETL/data integration (SSIS, SAP DS, Informatica, etc.).
• Experience with SDLC release management and deployment procedures.
• Excellent analytical skills, logical thinking, communication, teamwork and interpersonal skills.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of QA documentation, including test plans, test cases, test scripts, and quality metrics reports.
• At least 2-years of experience in writing complex SQL.

Expectations:-

• Location: Remote
• Working Hours: Work in shifts to support clients in US EST time zone (rotational shifts)
