Job Description

Job Purpose/Summary

HR - Associate Director plays a critical role by providing team with top notch Human Resources expertise in employee relations, legal compliance, training, employee engagement, talent planning, and recruitment. This role supports over 400 employees globally. If you are a proven Human Resources expert and ready for the adventure and challenge of being a part of a growing company developing state of the art solutions for Patient Drug Safety is the perfect spot to showcase your talents. This is a leadership role for HR Transformation, Strategy, to manage Performance, Retention & Leadership Development as primary areas of influence.

 

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 14 – 20 years of HR experience, with at least 5 years of experience at the Sr/ Manager level
  • Ability to formulate/ author HR Policies & manage compliances
  • Candidate having Majority experience in a Technology based Startup / Enterprise
  • Experience working in an entrepreneurial culture as well as a larger, established company is desirable
  • The Position requires excellent inter-personal communication skills and is a ‘Work from Office’ role (Noida)
  • A bachelor's or Post-graduate degree in business / HR or a related field from a reputed institute
  • XLRI Certification is mandatory for this role.
  • Experience in coaching and advising employees at multiple levels
  • Deep knowledge of best practices from past employers, professional networks, continuing education; strong preference for experience with a best-in-class employer with strong, innovative HR practices
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; proven ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management and staff
  • Ability to stand firm and remain committed when necessary and facilitate understanding when difficult decisions must be made and executed
  • Adept at handling multiple competing priorities and duties in a fast-paced, results driven, rapidly changing environment - with minimal daily oversight
  • Exposure to managing employees Internationally will be a Plus
  • XLRI or equivalent Certification is mandatory for this role.

Additional Information

Job Responsibilities:

1. HR Strategy, policies, and standards:

a. Research and recommend progressive human resource programs that will enhance overall organizational effectiveness and enhance the ability of the company and function to meet its strategic business goals

b. Develop and execute talent management plans to ensure that our best talent is placed in the right positions through targeted recruiting and on-going development

c. Provide employee turnover rates and implement required employee retention plans

d. Maintain the HR policies and standards

e. Develop and maintain job descriptions

f. Maintain the employment agreements

2. Performance Management:

a. Administer compensation, employee benefits and performance management programs

b. Ensure timely setup of performance goals

c. Ensure that the performance reviews are executed twice a year

d. Provide performance reviews results summary to senior management e.g. top performers etc.

e. Manage the employee competencies in the HR system (current and desired)

3. Employee relationship management:

a. Effectively work with managers to resolve employee relations issues as they arise

b. Meet (or video conference) with employees globally periodically to check on employee satisfaction, capture and report specific issues and/or concerns

c. Create metrics on employee surveys and feedback. Develop and execute the action plan.

4. Recruitment (Good to have, non-mandatory):

a. Manage end-to-end recruitment process.

b. Support the development and sustained implementation of leading practices to continually increase the number, speed and quality of hires

c. Complete the onboarding of employees including background checks

5. HR Compliance & Audits:

a. Understand current requirements related to HR, reduce legal risks and ensure compliance with local, state and federal employment regulations

b. Maintain all personnel and benefits files, information and documentation

6. Others:

a. Advise leadership team and make recommendations on human resource related matters and strategy

b. Manage and administer the exit/termination process when required. Process the unemployment claims as required.

c. Process the immigration related activities as required

d. Other duties as assigned
