Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Java Backend Lead to join our team. This is a full-time, senior-level position based in Bangalore or Chennai. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 to 13 years of work experience.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proficiency in Java (Mandatory skill) with at least 8 years of experience in backend development.
• Extensive experience with Microservices architecture (Mandatory skill) and the ability to build scalable applications.
• Thorough knowledge and hands-on experience with Kafka (Mandatory skill) for real-time data processing.
• Proficiency in developing and managing RESTful APIs to ensure smooth integrations.
• Expertise in version control systems, particularly GitHub, for collaborative development and code management.
• Strong understanding of SQL databases and the ability to write complex queries for data management.
• In-depth knowledge of JAVA BACKEND systems and their performance optimization techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to lead a team effectively, ensuring successful project delivery.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Lead the development of Java backend solutions, ensuring high performance, quality, and responsiveness.
• Design and implement Microservices architecture to support complex business functionalities.
• Utilize Kafka for message brokering and real-time data streaming applications.
• Develop, test, and maintain RESTful APIs that facilitate smooth integration with front-end applications.
• Manage code repositories using GitHub, including code reviews and version control operations.
• Optimize SQL database performance and write efficient queries for data retrieval and manipulation.
• Mentor and guide junior developers, providing technical leadership and fostering a productive team environment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and address business requirements.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve backend solutions.
